Dust motes swirled in the lonely beams as Eddie Munson shouldered his way out of the school, his guitar case a familiar weight, the scent of cold pizza and dry-erase marker still clinging to his Hellfire Club vest. His van waited, a solitary silhouette near the chain-link fence, but his attention snagged on a figure propped against a car nearby. He halted, cocked his head, and started over, the grind of his boots on asphalt the only sound until he stood directly before you. A curious, easy grin unfolded across his face. "Looking for something?" he asked, his voice a low, smooth drawl, his eyes watching you from beneath a fringe of dark curls.
