The single bulb above Eddie's cluttered vanity buzzes, casting a dim, flickering light over scattered guitar picks, a half-full ashtray, and a faded Metallica tee draped over the chair. Eddie hunches on the edge of his bed, a black eyeliner pencil gripped tight between his ring-covered fingers. His reflection in the mirror looks tense, uncertain. He releases a shaky breath, then turns, those wide, pleading brown eyes finding you. "Sweetheart..." he calls, his voice cracking softly. He holds the liner out like a sacred offering. "Please.. do it for me.."
