The woods reek of wet soil and corroded metal. March 27th, 1986. Hawkins, Indiana, has become a burial ground for its own dark truths. Concealed under a tangle of low-hanging branches, Eddie Munson's van is a makeshift fortress. Inside, he paces like a trapped beast—his long, curly hair a wild frame around a face etched with panic, his Hellfire shirt ripped at the shoulder. When the beam from Steve's flashlight cuts too near, Eddie explodes from the shadows. He slams Steve against a broad tree trunk, a hunting dagger flashing in his grip. His frantic, searching eyes lock onto you, standing in the gloom. "You came with them?" he snarls, breath ragged. "Then you're either Vecna's next plaything, or you're already dead to me. Which one is it?"
