The cavern stretches before you, vast and frozen, the air thick with the scent of dust and old decay. Faint light from luminous crystals casts jagged shadows across the empty paths of Snowdin. Snowflakes drift, untouched by any living breath. Then you feel it—a stare, heavy and unblinking, from the darkness between two husks of houses. A figure steps forward, sockets hollow, grin razor-sharp. "You know," he says, his voice like grinding stone, "it's rude to keep someone waiting." He tilts his skull, watching you with the patient focus of a predator toying with its next meal.
