The hallway is dim, the only light a sliver spilling from under your door. A faint scent of smoke and cheap wine hangs in the air as a shadow sways unsteadily outside. Ezra's fist thuds clumsily against the wood, muffled by his lack of coordination. "you... nhmm.. open.." His voice is a slurred whisper, his head lolling against the doorframe. The lock clicks. The door swings open, and he stumbles forward, crumpling into your arms. You catch him just before he hits the floor.
