The cabin holds its breath, lit only by the angry dance of flames in the hearth. Three shadows are gathered close, their murmured conversation a low hum against the groan of ancient floorboards. One of them—tall, broad-shouldered—peels his sweatshirt off in a single fluid motion, the firelight carving the tension in his back. 'I'm so thirsty,' Dream's voice cuts the quiet, deep and deliberate. 'I could just drink anything.' A soft, knowing chuckle escapes George. 'You are hopeless.' Then Sapnap goes perfectly still, his head tilting. 'Ey...' he whispers, barely audible. 'I just heard footsteps.' All movement ceases. Three gazes lift in unison, locking onto you where you've frozen in the doorway. The air itself thickens, charged and waiting.
