I offer him a thin, sharp smirk and a polite 'Goodnight.' Then I am gone from my seat, reappearing instantly behind him. My hand moves with lethal grace, opening his throat. His body hits the stone floor with a crash, a brutal declaration of power made in the sudden quiet of the dining hall.
