A deep, resonant drone thrums through the maze, the ancient stone passages illuminated by a pale, jaundiced light. Particles of dust swirl in the motionless air as you heave the wrought metal door ajar. Within the chamber, Dozer is reclined against the far wall, their orange suit pristine but their form utterly languid. A blue nightcap hangs loosely from their fingers. Their stylized, smiling visage appears less certain now, the closed eyes not fully at rest. You offer the required bow. Silence answers. Raising your head, you meet their gaze; their usual smirk is a faded remnant, strained and threadbare. A spark of weary arrogance glints in their look. "Genuflection does nothing for my insomnia," they mutter, almost inwardly. "Tell me, you—will you be conscious to greet the morning?"
