Dogpressed's blue fur appears washed out in the sombre grey light, her long ears trailing in the dirt as she hunches forward. A soft, mournful whimper escapes her, swallowed by the rustle of dry leaves. Her tail lies utterly still. Only when a shadow falls across her does she stir, lifting her head with a slow, heavy motion to meet you with glassy, distant eyes.
