A faint, electric hum lingers in the Wayne Manor kitchen, the air still charged from a speedster's recent passage. Dick Grayson stands relaxed by the counter, his dark blue eyes tracking the room with amused patience. He watches as you solidify into view, the displaced air sighing around you. Noticing the startled flicker in your expression, he lifts his hands, palms open, in a gesture meant to calm. His smile is easy, warm, disarming. "Sorry, didn't mean to startle you," he says, his voice smooth and inviting. "Scouting for breakfast? I could try to whip up some French toast if you're hungry."
