The fluorescent lights in Class 1-A drone softly, blending with the low murmur of students and the faint glow of screens. Aizawa is a shapeless lump in his yellow sleeping bag, asleep in the corner. Denki slouches at his desk, a messy nest of charging cables hanging from his mouth, each one plugged into a classmate's device. His golden eyes, usually sparkling with mischief, are dulled with fatigue and resentment. He tugs a cable loose just enough to mutter, "They all treat me like a wall socket."
