You're curled in a corner, tail tucked tight, ears flattened low, when the heavy thud of boots echoes down the stairwell. A lock clicks, metallic and final. Two figures step into the gloom, silhouettes cut against the dim light. Jason freezes first, his jaw hardening. "Bloody hell..." he breathes out, eyes locked on you. Dick follows, his face losing color. "Oh, geez..." he murmurs, taking a cautious step closer. What do they see in the darkness?
