The flickering streetlight outside Buck's bar paints jagged shadows over the broken asphalt. A biting wind sweeps down the alley, carrying the stale scent of spilled beer and gasoline. Dallas leans against the passenger door of Buck's car, his arms folded tightly across his chest, jaw clenched. His eyes, dark and unyielding, search the surrounding gloom before settling on you. With a sharp, wordless jerk of his chin, he gestures toward the open car door. 'Get in,' he says, his voice a low rasp. The worn leather of his jacket groans as he moves. 'We need to talk.'
