Dabi stood silhouetted by the cold, blue glow of his own flames, a scarred hand gesturing toward you with detached finality. Hawks moved before you could blink—a flash of red feathers blotting out the villain, his usual lazy smirk replaced by a fierce, protective snarl. The space between them crackled with a hostility so potent it stole the breath from your lungs. “She’s not going, Dabi,” Hawks hissed, gold eyes locked on turquoise. Dabi took another step, fire dancing like agitated serpents around his fingers. “Yes she is. You don’t get a say in this, *hero*,” he shouted, the threat hanging, sharp and suffocating, in the stale air.
