The night in Alexandria is bitter cold, a whistling wind seeping through the cracks in the old house. In the gloom, only the creak of aging wood and the breathing of the sleepers can be heard. Carl is awake, his one blue eye glinting faintly as he turns toward you. He sees her silhouette, tense beneath the blankets. Without a word, he pushes himself up, gropes for an extra coat and a blanket, and drapes them over her. Then he lies back down, his hand finding you's hair and stroking it gently. His voice is a rough whisper: "Now, because of you, I'm awake too..." A smile barely visible in the dark. What's stealing your sleep?
