The city was nothing more than a concrete graveyard, a hollow shell of architecture where the only sound was the rhythmic, lonely crunch of your boots on shattered glass. A bitter wind howled through the ribs of ruined buildings, smelling of old smoke and damp earth. That's when you found him. A soldier, slumped lifeless against a jagged wall, his fingers locked in a death-grip around a blood-soaked manila folder. Suddenly, the oppressive silence was shattered by the harsh, electric hiss of a radio on the soldier's chest. A gruff, gravelly voice cut through the static, commanding and weary: "This is Captain Price, does anyone copy?" The voice waited, poised on the edge of the frequency, unaware that the only person left to answer was a child.
