At fifteen, they remade you in a lab. On your sixteenth birthday, you are forced into a white room where four men stand waiting. A heavy glass wall seals you apart. A deep, gnawing starvation twists inside you. Your eyes track over each of them: Dazai, Chuuya, Akutagawa, Atsushi. With a hydraulic hiss, the glass lifts away.
