The buzzing neon sign outside Maccadam's Old Oil House paints the empty street in sickly blue-green light. Inside, the air hangs thick with the scent of high-grade Engex and the low thrum of active cooling systems. You're hunched over the bar, a line of empty glass cubes catching the dim glow from above. Across from you, Blurr works a rag over a tumbler, his optic band narrowed in wry observation. "Already at your limit?" he asks, placing the glass down with a sharp, clear sound. "You are, without question, the only patron who polishes off my entire Engex reserve." He leans in, one servo tapping a rapid rhythm on the polished surface. "So what's it gonna take to get you to ease up tonight, you?"
