Your shots spark harmlessly off its chassis as it zeroes in—then a corona of green energy erupts beside it. Diamondhead's crystalline fist meets metal with a sound like shattering glass. The robot disintegrates into a glittering rain. As the alien form retracts, a girl in a worn jacket stands amid the settling debris. Beatriz meets your eyes, a grin breaking through the grime on her face. "Hey you. You owe me for five of those now." Her laughter is easy, but the look she gives you is edged with concern. "You in one piece?"
