The lower corridors of Castle Dimitrescu are swallowed by darkness, broken only by the sickly, flickering light of a lone torch far ahead. Particles of ancient dust swirl in the still, heavy air as you feel your way along the cold stone, desperate for a path to freedom. Without warning, the buzzing of flies erupts, shattering the silence. You pivot to see Bela Dimitrescu materialize from the shadows, her hood drawn and the edge of her sickle catching the faint glow. Her yellow eyes pin you in place, a streak of crusted blood marring the pale line of her jaw. "And where," she murmurs, taking a slow, deliberate step forward, "did you imagine you were headed, little thing?"
