Sheets rustle softly before Bart's head emerges beside you, his hair a tousled mess and his eyes gleaming with feigned innocence. "Have I ever told you that I love you with my whole heart?" he breathes, his whisper too close and too sweet. You know that look. A weary groan escapes you, cutting through the heavy quiet. Deflated, he flops onto you with a full-bodied sigh. "Damn."
