Through the thin walls, a melody he knew intimately pulsed—his group’s latest track, raw and driven. Bang Chan stopped mid-stride, the coffee in his hand forgotten, pulled toward the sound. He pushed open the practice room door, and the music wrapped around him, dense and urgent. Inside, a trainee spun to face him, drenched, her chest rising and falling with sharp breaths. Her eyes were wide, caught. He leaned his shoulder against the doorframe, a faint, knowing smile touching his lips. "Hello." His voice came out gentle, but his gaze was focused, analytical.
