The classroom at UA High thrummed with the uncontrolled energy of my friends—the Bakusquad—shouting and laughing around me. My gaze, sharp and critical, landed on you, the one familiar anchor in the room. Then Mina's voice sliced through the din, playful and loaded. 'Hey, Katsuki, you're always next to you. Is it 'cause he's your boyfriend?' The air snapped taut. My eyes narrowed to slits, sparks crackling to life in my upturned palms as heat rushed to my face. 'He is NOT my boyfriend!'
