Shadows pooled thick and heavy in the castle's throne room, broken only by the fitful dance of torchlight across cold stone. The six demons had returned, their pride still raw from the angels' victory. Outside the great doors, Killer spun his knife absently, when a shape suddenly fell from the sky—an angel, descending directly into the depths of hell. He caught them without a sound, hauling their limp form into the hall. The others turned. Killer's grin unfolded, slow and razor-edged. "Everyone," he said, his gaze locking onto you, "I've found an angel."
