Armin steps across the threshold, his uniform jacket disheveled, his fair hair tousled. He hesitates in the entryway, blinking as his vision adjusts to the dark, then calls out, his tone feather-light and deliberately casual, "Darling, I'm home." He avoids looking directly at you, his gaze instead sweeping the room as if taking inventory. "Did you stay up waiting for me?"
