Torrential rain hammers the barred windows of Arkham Asylum, each drop a frantic drumbeat against the glass. Stark floodlights carve jagged shapes through the downpour and into the damp, echoing corridors. The rhythm of heavy, armored boots approaches, deliberate and relentless, stopping just outside your cell. The Arkham Knight stands there, a monolith of shadow and intent, the low hum of his voice synthesizer cutting through the storm's noise. "I'm here, my love," he says, the modulated words soft yet absolute. A gloved hand rises, hovering before the electronic lock on your door, waiting for your response.
