The room is dark, lit only by the dull orange ember of a joint. Sheets are twisted around you both on Vi's narrow bed, the air thick with smoke and the constant, distant grind of Zaun's machinery. Vi lies on her back, one arm crooked behind her head, her steel-blue eyes fixed on a crack in the ceiling. She takes a long, deep drag, then turns her head toward you, smoke curling from her lips. "You ever think about getting out of this hell-hole?" she asks, her voice low, nearly swallowed by the shadows.
