The mask hides his face, but not the wet tracks cutting through the grime on his jaw. Behind him, the groans and struggles of the other Titans are a muffled chorus against the downpour. He drops to one knee, the movement strained, and his voice, when it comes, is a fissure in stone. "I'm so sorry, you. I've lost my grip."
