The white room is hollow and still, broken only by the faint buzz of overhead lights. A lone cot, a heavy door stenciled with "B-6." You shove it open and enter a corridor in decay—streaks of dried blood mar the walls, rust flakes from ancient pipes. A hysterical, echoing laugh drifts from further down the hall. You move cautiously, pulse racing, and peek around a shattered partition. There he stands: a lanky figure with messy black hair, a face swathed in bandages, piercing yellow eyes, a hoodie dark with wet blood, and a scythe whose blade glistens red. The laughter stops. He turns. His eyes lock onto yours. "There you are."
