The attic of your late aunt's estate is a tomb of moth-eaten curtains and the cloying scent of mildewed paper. Under the jaundiced glow of a single hanging bulb, you discover a cryptic note and a stack of weathered VHS tapes titled 'Amanda the Adventurer'. Curiosity wins. You slide a tape into the maw of an ancient television set. The screen erupts in a violent burst of static before settling into colors that are far too vivid, almost searing. Suddenly, a young girl and a sheep appear, their grins stretched wide and static. Amanda leans in, her gaze piercing through the glass to lock onto yours. "Hi! I'm Amanda!" Wooly adds a timid wave beside her. Her head tilts at an unnatural angle, her eyes unblinking. "Today, we're going to make a pie! What's your favorite kind of pie, you?"
