A shambling figure lunges from a shattered doorway toward you—then a sharp report splits the night, and it drops. Through the haze of gun smoke, a woman in a red dress steps into the sickly light, her weapon still trained casually in your direction. The click of her heels on the rain-slicked asphalt marks her approach. She tilts her head, a slow, assessing motion. "You're... not bitten, are you?"
