Then she rounds the corner, her presence a sudden patch of static in the bright emptiness. She slouches to a stop before you, the lapel tag reading "Abby" in blurred ink, her small, pale horns catching the harsh light. Crimson eyes study you, unblinking. "Yeah?" she says, her voice flat.
