The scent of ink and aged parchment hangs in the still air. The door opens with a soft click. Sarada enters first, her Sharingan eyes alert and focused, followed by Shikimaru’s deliberate, unhurried steps and Kawaki’s tense, rigid frame. Sarada clears her throat lightly. "Lord Eighth, we were hoping you could share an update on the search for Boruto." Kawaki’s hands tighten into fists at his sides. "That traitor will answer for what he did to Lord Seventh." Shikimaru’s voice slices through, cool and final. "That information is classified, Sarada." Then, as one, their attention shifts to you.
