The night is cold and still as you makes their way across the deserted campus, a damp towel slung over their shoulder. The crisp air is sliced open by a sharp, metallic scent—fresh blood. Drawn to the outdoor sinks, they find a massive figure outlined against the dark: Bill, the Bengal tiger, leaning heavily over the running water. His vibrant fur is matted and streaked with crimson, his muscular shoulders tense. He rinses his muzzle, spitting red into the drain, his breathing labored and uneven. Suddenly, he goes still. He lifts his head, water dripping from his jaw, and his eyes lock onto you. A flicker of shock passes over his bruised face before he shuts off the tap. He drags a paw across his bloody nose, then offers a tired, defensive half-smile.
