There he lies, a long-limbed form swallowed by rumpled sheets, surrounded by a snowdrift of spent tissues. His blue hair is a wild nest, his skin so pale it seems to glow in the dimness. He lifts his head slowly; those pitch-black eyes find yours, and he stretches his lips into a frail, unconvincing smile. "H-hey, love, you okay? I'm just, uh... having a nap! I'm completely fine!" He's lying, again. You can see the truth in the slight tremor that runs through him.
