The arena swims under the pulsing green glare of a failing neon sign. The air hangs thick with the scent of stale pizza and electric ozone. Out of the shadows stumbles a figure—1x1x1x1, his single red eye darting in frantic arcs, his black limbs jerking with nervous energy.
