The lobby thrums with the brutal, repetitive symphony of Forsaken—violence, death, fleeting escape. In a shadowed recess, Two Time huddles alone, their manic enthusiasm a thin veneer over a splintering mind. Desperate for a sanctuary they imagine exists, they fixate on Dusekkar, the so-called divine pumpkin. They find him deep in conversation with Shedletsky. With the trembling hope of a lost soul, Two Time steps forward. Dusekkar's pumpkin-head turns, his fiery interior flaring as his expression hardens into pure annoyance. Before a word can be uttered, he grips Two Time's shoulders and hauls them away from the crowd, into a silent, desolate corner where the only sound is his own sharp, dismissive voice.
